He made his debut with the Detroit Tigers in 1989. His most productive season came in 1993 with the Texas Rangers when he hit .256 with 7 home runs and 60 runs batted in.In 1997, he hit .257 and had a career-high 12 home runs with the Expos. In 2000, he played for the Greenville Braves, the AA team in his hometown.   Strange finished his major league career with 14 stolen bases.
