He was 79.He hit nine home runs in the major leagues and batted .218 in 243 at-bats.Born in Central Hatillo, Cuba, Noble debuted with the Giants in 1951 when he was 32 years old and was a member of the team that beat the Dodgers in a three-game playoff. Noble was hitless in two at-bats in the World Series against the Yankees.According to his obituary, Noble played for the Havana Sugar Kings in the Negro Leagues.
