Don Dennis, who pitched in the major leagues for the Cardinals, died on March 22, 2007. He had been battling cancer. He was 65.

He pitched for St. Louis is 1965 and 1966. He posted a career record of 6-5 with a 3.69 ERA in 114.2 innings pitched. He recorded 54 strikeouts and eight saves.

In December 1966, he was traded by the Cardinals, along with Walt Williams, to the White Sox for Johnny Romano and Lee White.
