In 125 games, Winningham hit .237 with 3 home runs, 21 runs batted in and 20 stolen bases.In 1988, Montreal sent Winningham to the Reds. He collected 2 hits in four at-bats for the 1990 Cincinnati Reds en route to a World Series victory over the Oakland Athletics.
