He died in 2002.In his best year in the majors,in 1944, he pitched to a 4-3 record with 1 save for the Yankees. In appearedin 16 games, starting in 6 and pitching a shutout. His ERA was 3.86 andhe struck out 34 in 84 innings.Roser was a sports star atClarkson University before signing with the New York Yankees.
