McGah died Sept. 30, 2002, on his 81stbirthday. He joined his father as one of the original partners in theOakland Raiders franchise. “Ed McGah’s friendship and counsel willbe deeply missed by the Raiders,” team owner Al Davis said following McGah’sdeath. McGah played professional baseball forthe Boston Red Sox in 1946 and 1947.
