Juan Delis, a Cuban native who played in 54 games in the major leagues, died on July 23, 2003 in Havana, Cuba.

Delis made his major league debut on April 16, 1955 with Washington. He hit .189 with 11 RBI and a stolen base in 132 at-bats.
