George David Coffman, known as Slick, died in Alabama in May according to information submitted to the site.

Coffman, the brother of major leaguer Dick Coffman, debuted with the Detroit Tigers in 1937 and was 7-5. For each of his next three seasons, he had an ERA over 6.00.
