In May 1951, the Red Sox traded Suchecki, Jim McDonald, Matt Batts and $100,000 to the St. Louis Browns for catcher Les Moss.Suchecki started 6 games that year and finished the season with an 0-6 record with a 5.42 ERA.He pitched briefly for Pittsburgh in 1952.
