Bob Barthelson, who pitched in 7 games for the New York Giants in 1944, died on April 14, 2000.  He compiled a 1-1 record and a 4.66 ERA in 9.2 innings.

He pitched for the Minneapolis Millers in 1946.  He is also listed as having pitched for the Sacramento Salons at some point in his career.
